4th Grade Students in 4th grade began a weaving unit by learning how to weave using paper. They used this knowledge to create a beautiful Kimono. Students started by printing stamps on white paper. They cut those painted papers into strips to create their 'string' for weaving. Each Kimono is created from two separate weaved papers and combined with a traditional obi sash in the middle.
