As one of their most intensive projects during their time with me as students, 8th graders design and complete a miniature museum that highlights an artist or artistic period. Each student individually creates two re-creation pieces on real canvas. They then work as teams using mathematics to create a blueprint for fitting the artworks in their buildings. This year's museums are truly spectacular.
